So I was doing the hole Google Surf and a thought popped in to my head. Cayenne Pepper Weight Loss. I remember over the multiple times I have tried to lose weight that things like the Lemon Detox Diet (Use’s Cayenne Pepper) and The Cayenne Pepper Diet itself.
So I thought it was only fair for me to do some research on the topic and see if this weight loss herb could be added in to my Slow Carb Diet.
As I quite like the taste and I can always add a bit more in to my mexican food.
From doing my comb of the internet I have found claims that daily use can lead to an increase in metabolism of anywhere between 5% and 25%.
One claim that seemed more believable is that it speeds your metabolism up by 300% for up to an hour after consuming. This would make sense and based on this you can see the potential in adding to your meals.
Especially on a Binge Day. Cayenne Pepper could be something to help out.
But why not on all meals the more you burn the better right.
The main ingredient in cayenne pepper that does all the magic is called capsaicin.
A quote found online suggests:
“Several studies conducted on capsaicin have returned very interesting resulting, including the inhibition of fat cell growth and hunger reduction.”
You can’t beat a good bit of Hunger Reduction.
As long as you don’t mind a bit of spice in your food.
Capsaicin first jumped out of the wood work when scientists reported capsaicin inhibited fat cell growth(everyone rejoiced). This was reported on March 21, 2007 in the American Chemical Society’s (ACS) Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Taiwanese researchers used capsaicin on a pre-adipocytes fat cell and the results?
“They found that capsaicin prevented pre-adipocytes from filling with fat and becoming full-fledged fat cells,” which was first reported in Science Daily. This essentially means capsaicin was able to stop the process of fat cell creation, inhibiting its growth in the body. Gow-Chin Yen and Chin-Lin Hsu, the main researchers, confirmed it could be a great anti obesity tool.
From my personal research there is so much information on Cayenne Pepper and Weight Loss it is really hard to get a handle on exact figures.
But it seems that it is widely known as being good for weight loss.
So keep it in mind and look to add more to your diet. Think where Could I add Cayenne Pepper. Especially if it helps with weight loss.
Some common suggestions are
- add 2 tsp to a cup of soup
- add it to any sauces you make
- add it to any hot food you are cooking
- add it to your eggs in the morning for a kick
- add it to your spinach im sure it could do with some
- be creative the skys the limit
So I hope that gets you thinking about Cayenne Pepper Weight Loss – If it can speed up your metabolism even by only 5% it is going to be a great ally in your road to Slow Carb Weight Loss!
