I was dragged out.

My friends had the idea to relive our Youth and go to a rave. These are the organised dance parites with lots of people of all ages(most are 18 – 21 jumping up and down to loud thumping beats.

Lets say I agreed to take the plunge and started to prepare. As not only was I going to have fun with friends but I wanted to prove that Dancing To Lose Weight was a great help. It was Cardio and Stretching personofied.

I also decided to go straight. That means no Alchoho, Smoking or any thing of that nature. Instead I thought about healthier ways of keeping myself going for 4 hours on the dance floor (Which is a massive work out). What I took was.

1. Water – Lots and Lots of Water to keep hydrated.

2. Vitamin C – This gives you a great kick to keep you going

3. B Vitaimins -  For Energy. They really help keep you going

4. I had 3 double espresso’s in the hour before I went.

Now if you think about that. That is pretty tame but it kept me going stronger that most for 4 hours of me jumping up and down. I can tell you I sweated all the water out and some. I was a beast.

The Next Morning(which was this moring) I felt a little sore but due to the above which I had taken prior I was fine all and all. I had also well exceeded my standard Cardio work out for the week and could feel how much the muscles in the Abs, Legs and arms had worked it was great.

It also followed the main rule Have Fun. Which Dancing do you enjoy? Do you like Hard House, Salsa or Jive?

Pick one you would love to learn and do it. It is an amazing workout and will be fun at the same time. This is a great compliment to the gym and I always recommend you are better to use the gym for weight training and choose Dancing To Lose Weight through cardio. Or a Sport for that matter (I play Soccer).
