Hey Guys.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year Break. I just wanted to drop in a quick post about a Documentary I saw on the Documentary Channel(of all places) it was Called Fat Head.
The basis of it is about a guy who got sick of supersize me(You know that Morgan Spurlock Documentary on Mc D’s) and how people make themselves fat not just fast food chains. He even goes as far as to eat a strict diet of certain fast food meals from the restaurants to try and lose weight. Which he does.
But more importantly Tom Naughton the creator goes in to great Carb Vs Fat debate and makes it easy to understand. I must say I started reading Good Calories, Bad Calories which is a book on the subject but it is written by a researcher and after about 20 pages you are banging your head against a wall and your eyes are rectangle shaped.
So Tom’s movie was great in the fact that he graphically showed you what that book was about and others like it. Let me just say I do not believe that eating McDonald’s for a whole month is healthy. At All.
But I do think it is great to see people do experiments like this to show the truth of certain matters. As science can go over the head of most of us who do not have a spare life time to read whole books on every matter.
The Best part of the Documentary is when he goes in to the Cholesterol Debacle and helps debunk the belief that fat causes heart disease. This is not the first time I have seen this as more and more people are coming forward and saying the government is wrong but Tom puts it in a way to understand and inspire you to learn more.
This movie/documentary is done in a fun way and is a must see for anyone looking to build up some positive points for how Protein is what you need in your diet and it is the Carbs that are killing society.
So if you are down at the local video store. See if the have The Fat Head Movie. It is worth a watch. I loved it. Have a look at the Trailer for it below:
