I was going to do a post on Fiber and the Slow Carb Diet. But due to my day Slow Carb Fast Food seems to be more appropriate.

I knew this day would come and I must say I am quite happy it came over 2 weeks in and I handled my Fast Food Cravings with a strong focus and with my new intent.

Fast Food as a word has a bad name. But it does not have to be. It is usually your personal will for junk food beating out what you know your big end goal is like losing weight.

Today I was in a Frenzy of meetings. a 9 Hour stint on the Road and when I got home had to go and play indoor soccer. What a Day. So let me run you through my day and what I ate.

My Slow Carb Fast Food Day

Morning

The morning was started off as normal which was good

Bacon and Eggs

2 Krill oil Tablets

Lots of Cold Water

Morning Tea

I was at a close Indian Friends house and they put on a spread of biscuits etc & Indian Tea.

I managed to stay off the carbs but had a milky tea (not against dairy so it was a ok).

Slow Carb Fast FoodLunch

Nando’s was on the cards with my friend. Managed to be so good. No Sauce and had a Half Chicken & Green Salad with a bit of vinegar on it.  Hi 5 staying away from the chips and buns.

Afternoon Tea

I had a meeting with another business colleague at a Mc Cafe (The Fancy part of McDonalds).

He was going to be 30 mins and I was just hungry. This was by far the Hardest Fast Food day.

I ended up buying 2 Double Cheese Burgers & a Bacon and Grilled Chicken Wrap and a Long Black.

I managed to take off the burger buns and the wrap and just ate the meat and lettuce. The best of a

bad situation. If you want to see a great doco on a guy who have a largely Meat kind of Slow Carb Fast Food Diet make sure you watch Fat Head(see here for my Fat Head Movie Review).

Dinner

So Dinner was my 4th and final meal of the day. I ended up at a Mexican Restaurant. The Easiest of all Slow Carb Fast Food Restaurants and ordered a Chillie Con Carne dish with beans instead of rice & extra salad instead of chips. No extra cost and tasted great! mmmm :-)

Drank Water the rest of the Day with Black Coffees too.

All and all a win in the Fast Food Column for the Slow Carb Diet. When you know what you can eat you can work around it. Don’t beat yourself up if there is a little bit of sauce on the meat. Just do your best. Along any journey you will hit a few obstacles just rise above them and never beat your self up over them.

So that’s my Slow Carb Fast Food Experience. Hope that helps guys.
