Hey Guys,

Just thought I would lay an easy post down on a Slow Carb Foods List as it is my anniversary with my beautiful girlfriend and I am taking her out.

But before I go I thought that there is one thing people are always interested when they are on a diet. It is a Slow Carb Foods List. A list of what Foods they can eat and what they can not.

Questions like am I allowed Bacon? Mushrooms or Sour Cream? Are all bit Slow Carb Questions.

So What I thought I would start with is a list of foods you are Allowed. Then I would add in some in the Middle foods. To get started though Just wanted to point out some Big No No foods.

  • White Flour
  • Bread
  • Chips – Corn or Potato
  • Rice

Foods on the edge

Ok guys just wanted to add in here Dairy. I have read some books saying that some dairy is fine. But others that dis allow it. When you look at a Paleo Diet Dairy is forbidden for most people apart from Cottage Cheese.

I am not as harsh so Do have some Cheese & Sour Cream in my life. But I don’t drink Milk

Are Haricot and Black Turtle beans allowed?

Does anyone still do this diet???? I started 6 1/2 weeks ago and have lost 24 lbs. It’s the first diet that has ever stuck. I’m 1/3 of the way to my goal.
Every site I go to only contains comments that are years old. Was it a fad that just died? Or is there still a slow carb diet community out there?

If it works it works! Keep it up

Great stuff. The slow carb community does exist but not as much as it used to I think. I use many principles still but am not a full timer to be honest. But I 100% believe in what it is. The diet is not that revolutionary the more I have read as it is mainly a High Protein/fat diet with a few added extras so I will live on.

  • jetsom1000 .

thank you, you are one of the only sites that came up that actually had a dam list ..again thanks..

Hi, I started this diet 2 weeks ago, and I bought a bag of green pea flour (at an organic store, which means that the only ingredient in the bag is grounded green peas. However, according to two blogs that I found today, green pea/chick pea/lima bean flours are not allowed on the diet. Do you know of this is true, and if so, why would these be forbidden?
