Hey Guys.

Hope everyone is well. One of the big questions I am getting asked a lot is. I am after some Slow Carb Recipes that will keep my mind off what I am not allowed to have. So this is what got me thinking about writing this post on Slow Carb Recipe Books. I enjoy the internet but find there is just so much out there it can get overwhelming. You also have to know what you are looking for where as flicking through a Recipe Book is much easier. Initially when I started I was not even sure all the foods I could have or not so the Cook Book takes that out of the mix. So after some Research I have listed the top Slow Carb Recipe Books below:

I have picked the 6 Books (ones actually a DVD Set) based on 2 of the books which I have and the other 4 had great reviews and I am going to purchase them going forward. You can never have to many recipes when you are choosing a new way of life. Most of these are Low Carb and fit the Slow Carb Way of cooking. Just note that you want to avoid dairy & fruit where possible.
The Slow Carb Cookbook1. The Slow Carb Cookbook

This is a new listing to the chart and is the best cook book you can buy on Slow Carb Cooking. With the Low carb Cook Books they can be good bud you do need to tweak around some recipes for them to suit.

This is by far the must have bible for Slow Carb Dieters. It really helps you add different meals to your diet which keeps you going in the long term! Grab the Book here.

2. 1001 Low-Carb Recipes: Hundreds of Delicious Recipes from Dinner to Dessert

This is the second book that I own and think it is just great. Between this book and the previous there are just so many recipes. I actually use this one the most as it seems to have the best Meat/Salad Recipes. Look for the Low Carb Mayo Recipe and the Low Carb Sun Dried Tomato Chicken. mmmmm. A Note for your own safety – don’t sit and read these an hour after a meal as they will make you hungry again lol. – Get this Book Here.

Those were the top 2 – A Quick note on the rest With the other books it is very hard to give a review so have just included the product description below. But all look great. I also like the idea of the DVD as I have been getting sick of flicking on to the food channel every now and then and it be a carb loaded desert or something. Would be good to watch a DVD on foods I can make!

Slow Carb Recipe Books3. The Low-Carb Barbecue Book : Over 200 Recipes for the Grill and Picnic Table

This one came to my eye as it is one of the biggest advantages of a Slow Carb or Low Carb Diet which is the ability to eat BBQ Meat.

Be it Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Pork – You name it we can eat it. You find a lot of standard Recipe Books not looking at the BBQ Process. So this looks like an ideal Cook Book. – Grab this book here.

Slow Carb Slow Cooker Recipe Book6. The Everyday Low-Carb Slow Cooker Cookbook: Over 120 Delicious Low-Carb Recipes That Cook Themselves

Well by now you may have read my Slow Cooker Post. I love Slow Cookers. As I am male and naturally lazy it is the perfect machine for keeping me lean. A Review for the book says: “True to its title, offering recipes that can be effortlessly made day after day and are consistent with a low-carb lifestyle. Although there is no doubt this is a cookbook, the surprising amount of useful information it provides for readers who have limited knowledge about how to use a slow cooker and low-carb eating enhances its appeal.

This cookbook provides simple and creative ways to prepare a wide variety of food and should be a welcome addition to the cookbook collection of any novice or even more experienced chef.” – You can grab this one here
